Aziz Yazdani, Student Winner – Single Image, Contemporary Life
Born in the beautiful city of Baltimore, Maryland, Aziz eventually made his way down to the rough streets of Fairfax County, Virginia where he began his photography career at the not so early age of 24. Since photographing his first stranger back in 2005, he has continued to focus much of his efforts at making the mundane scenes in life more meaningful. Aziz enjoys long walks on the street (with camera in hand), punk rock, talking to random strangers, and Tri-X.
