2012 'Shoot the Festival' Instagram Contest - Terms and Conditions 1. By entering the Contest, you agree to the Contest Terms and Conditions listed below. 2. The Contest is open to US residents only, aged 21 years and older (“Eligible Entrant”). 3. The Contest starts at 5pm EST on November 9th, 2012 and ends November 18th at 12pm EST. 4. The judging process will take place immediately following the end of the contest. 5. Your Instagram profile settings must be PUBLIC and the eligible photo must be tagged #fotoweekcontest 6. Inappropriate, obscene, threatening, dangerous, or abusive content is not permitted, and those entries will be disqualified. No spam or unlawful content is permitted. All content must comply with Instagram terms of use. 7. The contest is free of charge, and the entrant may submit an unlimited number of entries, as long as each entry is different. 8. If you are awarded a prize and are unable to claim your prize, there is no in place compensation. The giveaways are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. 9. This FotoWeekDC Instagram Contest is dependent on skill, and chance plays no part in the judging process. 10. The winners will be notified via Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, and on our website sometime after the close of the festival on November 18th, 2012. 11. National Geographic Expeditions - Terms and Conditions 1. The winner may choose between a Weekend Photography Workshop in Washington, D.C. or a Weekend Photography Workshop in New York City offered by National Geographic Expeditions. The prize is for 1 person and includes hotel accommodations. 2. Travel expenses to/from the winner's home city are not included. 3. Workshop must be completed before December 31, 2013 on dates determined by National Geographic Expeditions in its sole discretion or prize will be forfeited. Space is subject to availability.
