Mobile Works
Exhibitions

Mobile Works is juried by Keith Lane. Technology has played a huge role in the way people approach taking pictures. A mobile phone today is essentially a camera, an editing device and computer all in one. Mobile Works put the restriction on the photographer that the images had to be taken and edited with only their cell phone. The process of completing a photograph with a traditional camera, or even a digital SLR involves many different steps and locations, e.g. taking the picture, developing the film, and processing a print, or with digital, taking the picture, uploading the images, and then post-production on a computer and finally printing. With a cell phone many of those steps are combined to take place right in your hand.
