Images on Paper: Fine-art photographs by Andrew Sovjani
Exhibitions
Washington, D.C. – Images on Paper, on view from October 25 - November 24, 2012 at Susan Calloway Fine Arts, 1643 Wisconsin Avenue, NW, is a joint exhibition of fine drawings by Dana Westring and fine-art photographs by Andrew Sovjani. Westring’s drawings delicately depict the rugged and rocky landscape of Prouts Neck, ME, an area made famous by Winslow Homer.

Using both large-and medium format film cameras, Sovjani creates photographs which are about the study of light and the subtle relationships within a scene. The exhibition features Sovjani’s reAction prints, a unique technique created by Sovjani which was inspired by action painters of the 50s. October 25 2012  11:00 AM - November 23 2012  06:00 PM
