National Geographic Image Collection

With an archive of over 11 1/2 million images, the National Geographic Image Collection is one of the largest and oldest collections in the world. It spans nearly 125 years of exploration and everyday life in every culture and ecosystem on the planet. For better and sometimes for worse, National Geographic's photography has deeply influenced cultural attitudes and interactions. For FotoweekDC 2011, the Image Collection presents two Geographic masters, B. Anthony Stewart and J. Baylor Roberts.
